WELCOME

To The World of Pryda.

Founded by A.R. Turner & Co in 1964.

After more than 50 years, Pryda has become a major company in the roof design and manufacturing systems.

Pryda entered Indonesia in 1993.

Launched the light steel technology roof truss systems, PRYDA STEEL FAST in 2002.

PT. BERKAT BAJA PRATAMA holds the only Pryda license in Indonesia.

50 YEARS OF HISTORY AND INNOVATION

1964

Based on the innovative solutions pioneered by A.R. Turner, an expert in building engineering, Pryda was founded in Napier, New Zealand.

1970

We expanded our operations to Australia and South Africa. We revolutionized roof truss design by introducing a special calculator that helped to visualize and calculate simple constructions.

1984

Pryda went public and grew substantially. In 1989 we introduced our first software. Computa-Roof which was much more advanced and user friendly than any program ever.

1993

Once again we revolutionized the industry when we introduced Pryda Roof System which was Windows OS based. This was a breakthrough as it started the era of 3D roof design. Pryda first entered Indonesia this same year.

2004 & BEYOND

Pryda joined the ITW group (Illinois Tool Works), a high tech multinational company with 800 subsidiary companies in 52 countries.

At Pryda we only use the highest quality steel. Our zinc coating is the most high density on the market. At Pryda we don't cut corners, there is no stronger steel on the market other than Pryda HD Coated Steel.

ZINC COATING
220 g/m²

At 220 g/m², our zinc coating is the most dense in the market by far. The average competitor only uses a 180 g/m² layer. That is over 20% thinner.

CEMENT FRIENDLY

The advantage of our use of zinc galvanized steel over zinc allum is that our coating is 100% cement friendly and will not corrode when in contact with wet cement.

PRYDA BUILDING PROCESS

1. SUBMIT ARCHITECTURAL DRAWING
We first need to receive the architectural drawing to look into possible solutions for your roof.

2. FIELD SURVEY
At Pryda wen understand that during the process of designing and building many changes are made in process. We make sure to survey the location to make sure the application is flawless.

3. PRYDA BUILD SYSTEM
We then input the architectural drawing and on site observations into our program and we come up with the strongest most efficient roof truss system.

4. INSTALLATION
All installation is done by Pryda Certified Roof Truss Applicators.
